Mohini Collections is a women's fashion label based in Burrabazar, Kolkata - one of the country's oldest and busiest textile markets. Our shop sits on Kalakar Street, and much of what we do still happens the old way: fabric held up to the light, drape checked by hand, a fit tried and tried again before it earns a place on the rail. We dress women for real life. Everyday kurtis and co-ords you can wear to work and still feel put together in. Sarees, lehengas and festive sets for the days that ask for something more. Modern cuts, Indian sensibility, and colours chosen because they suit Indian skin - not because they are trending this month. We keep our range tight on purpose. If a piece does not fit well or feel good on, it does not go out.
